I’m starting over in a new grade after 17 years! I built a strong library in my kindergarten classroom, but now I don’t have the same amount of resources to begin second grade. I have selected classroom library bins that will be available for the students to use during reading workshop. The students are able to shop for their own books to read, from the library. Having a variety of titles at all levels ensures all students can find books they have an interest in. I will be able to meet the needs of all of my students with a full classroom library. I have also selected some journals to help in our social emotional growth and development. This is a focus area for our district and I’m looking forward to working on it with my students. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
