The materials in this project will help my students excel in their math studies in various ways. Currently, it is important for us to avoid sharing supplies and these simple items can be divided up easily to provide each student with their own set. Items like the paper and binder clips and Post-Its will enable students to organize their notes and schoolwork that will serve as references and as reminders of the progress they've made. Post-It notes can be useful for helpful hints and encouraging messages, as well as tabs to mark certain areas in need of a little extra review or areas where more clarification is needed. The two-toned counters will be used as manipulatives and for playing math games. The passports in particular will provide them with a personal way to keep track of standards and the stickers can be used to celebrate their efforts toward mastery.
