In today's diverse classrooms, students with disabilities must keep up with their classmates, meet the demands of challenging curriculum as well as demonstrate progress on their individual goals. The ability to easily access a student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) as well as their academic goals is vital to my ability to modify curriculum and allow my students to feel successful. As all students have different needs, so too, do they have different learning styles and strengths. Being able to work on their IEP's and develop appropriate goals which can be readily monitored and progress noted will be a tremendous asset towards my ability to provide the appropriate education for all students in my care. I make use of the Smartboard within my classroom every day and often work late into the night on slides to bring a lesson to life for my students. Having a Chromebook to work on at home and connect to my Smartboard will provide my students with additional opportunities to "see and hear" a lesson.
