The materials that we are requesting will encourage our students to explore new sensory experiences while enhancing their skills needed for daily life. Specifically, the tactile puzzles and light up gears will provide visual and cognitive stimulation for our visually impaired students. The vibrating pillow and swing will aid us in redirecting our children to positive outlets during times they feel frustrated or overwhelmed. Many of our children struggle immensely with fine and gross motor skills, almost every item on our list will provide an experience which will support these needs. We strongly believe our list of materials will strengthen our growing sensory corner, which is one of the most popular areas in our classroom.
