My students need to move around the classroom! Pre-K students need to move their bodies around to be able to learn and focus. It is a difficult transition for some students to change from being at home to pre-K. My students need a classroom set up with many different floor decals to help them move around! Four-year-olds need to be able to move to be able to focus in class. Studies show that movement increases blood and oxygen flow and increases cognitive development, physical health, and mental well-being. My classroom will be set for the students to come into the classroom with different paths to jump, skip, and hop around during transitions and brain breaks throughout the day.
