Designing a classroom that embraces their differences and allows for them to learn in a non-traditional environment. As mentioned before, these students come to school with so much already on their plate from their home lives. They deserve to have a classroom where they feel comfortable to express their knowledge without the pressures that the general education classroom can sometimes cause. The flexible seating will help them with the freedom to learn without being constricted in a typical chair. As adults we understand how hard it is to sit in meetings for hours in a "regular" chair. Let’s help these students embrace their different learning styles by allowing them to sit differently while in a daily school setting.

About my class
