The funds collected will go exclusively to buy and purchase reading materials that strengthens their understanding and reading levels for Math. It's difficult to master math skills if you can't read the situation and understand the question or problem being depicted. It is also difficult it your thinking and critical skills lack motivation and determination. With my students (especially nonspeaking English) are so hungry to learn and tackle the barriers so they can be more successful. This funding would be so benefical to all my students as they read about math in real world situations and problems that grow their confidence. I believe that reading and talking about real life situations will help inspire and encourage my students to conqueror the challenge before them.
