As an experienced teacher, I know that it is rather imperative to provide the relative and necessary experiences and resources for our students in an effort to promote effective and efficient learning. Our students learn best when the learning experience presented to them is highly interactive and fun. Math is undoubtedly a very challenging subject for many of our students and as such we seek to present it in a manner that helps them to feel more comfortable with the subject and to 'see' math more clearly. This selected resource provides is a multi-sensory approach that will help our students to understand math better, while simultaneously developing their appreciation of the subject, their confidence and social skills. The incorporation of this resource in my math lesson will cater to the diverse learning needs and styles that exists therein and ultimately increase their learning competence. This project is one step closer to grooming and equipping our rising Mathematicians with the vital skills and competence necessary to go into the world and make valuable contributions to its development.
