These supplies will help allow us to tap into the value of whole brain teaching while inspiring and bring joy to each and every student. Kindergarten is a chance to ignite a love of learning in children who have less exposure to the arts than their privileged peers. Painting develops both fine motor skills and gross motor skills as well as hand eye coordination which is an essential skill in today's high tech world. Not to mention all of the fun colors and the thrill of creating a masterpiece! The opportunity to create art allows students to develop a sense of self.
