English language learners have trouble understanding many biological concepts due to the language barrier. Providing the students visuals, and visual directions all them to access the content more effectively. By eliminating the language barrier with visuals, students are more able to be successful in Biology and their English acquisition! iPads provide me with the opportunity to give detailed directions and laboratory experiences that are digital. With digital directions, students are able to pause, and rewind as many times as they need, at their own pace. Digital laboratory experiments allow the students to access content without the need for expensive laboratory supplies that the school may not be able to afford.
