Dash and Dot are a robot duo that provide endless coding oppurtunites to students in the classroom. Realistically, coding and programming are taking the world by storm and my students are ready for it! These two robots have the ability to be engaging to any student at any level in their coding and programming capabilities. While they can supply an introduction to coding, Dash and Dot can also challenge students that are on a very experienced level. Dash and Dot are ready to prepare today's children for tomorrow's world! I was first introduced to this dynamic duo at a professional development session and I was immediately amazed by them. While I know little about coding, I was able to quickly code a path for them to follow, sounds for them to make, and even a dance to do. It was incredible. The longer I was able to play with them, the quicker I realized how endless the oppurtunities truly are. These robots could be used in every subject that I teach: math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. Not only would they be teaching students pertinent skills for the growing technology community, but also reinforcing the information I have already taught. I would love your help in providing my students with the oppurtunity to expand their horizons with Dash and Dot!
