This year we are implementing heart rate monitors as a part of daily physical education. We want to change the environment and culture of physical education and allow students to truly own their success. We will focus on individual goals through monitoring data with our heart rate monitors. Students will benefit from large television monitor in the gym to show all heart rate monitors and where they are during physical activity. This data will be required to be recorded by each student to track his/her success. We want students to understand the importance of health both physically and emotionally and the importance of having a healthy heart through improving cardiovascular endurance. Please help our students change their lifestyle in our physical education environment without skipping a beat!
