My students need a new large carpet that allows each child to have their own space. Each child needs their own space to be able to focus and pay attention during lesson time. This carpet would help the students understand that they each need their own area. The new rug would be used multiple times a day. We start every morning off at the carpet doing morning meeting and reading stories. The students will also use this rug to read books on, play games and have circle time. We use this carpet during all whole group lessons. The students would find this carpet to be very inviting and each of them would have a space to call their own. Students will also be able to have a partner sit right next to them during our turn and talks. I believe communication between the children help them build a community and strengthens their learning. Please consider helping our class get a new rug so each student has their own space to help them focus more during lessons. Thank you so much!
