My students lack many of the extras in life and it is my desire to bring some of the beauty of learning to them in our classroom. Classrooms can be mundane but, in my room, the spark of curiosity should match the decor, we love to learn and we want our room to show it! This rug will provide a special spot of their own as well as a communal gathering for the class. A special rug, a special seat and a special place to learn together. My students can also take advantage of this space as a socio-emotional refuge in our room.
