Kindergartners need a variety of hands-on learning experiences. Some of the materials will be used to create literacy centers for independent or small group learning. Literacy centers are used for repetitive practice of several essential skills. The centers that I will create are for the beginning of the year practice and these centers will help build a foundation for reading and writing. We are also going to use some of the items for flexible seating. The students will be able to make their choice of what center they want to work on and where they would like to complete their tasks and activities!
