One of our missions is to provide a system of School-Wide Positive Behavior Supports that will create a climate of cooperation, academic excellence, and social-emotional competence. Through explicit modeling of behaviors and expectations, students and staff will be responsible, respectful, safe, and will persevere in all academic and social endeavors. We have created PRIDE tickets to acknowledge those students that help create this positive school climate. Every student pledges to do their best to follow our Positive Behavioral Expectations by having Personal accountability, showing Respect, having Integrity, respecting Diversity and showing Excellence - P.R.I.D.E. Through the P.R.I.D.E. ticket acknowledgment system, students can earn privileges and prizes inside and outside of the classroom. Students earn P.R.I.D.E. tickets from any staff member on campus. The student then uses the right side of the ticket in the classroom, and the left side may be entered in one of three drawings (weekly, quarterly, and end of semester). At the end of each semester, we hold a special Royal drawing. Students must surrender 10 unused P.R.I.D.E. tickets to receive one (1) Royal ticket. We then draw two (2) Royal winners who choose among large, highly desired prizes. This Donors Choose request is to raise funds for a highly desired incentive of Apple AirPods.
