Nearpod is an app that I can use with my students to create interactive lessons. Nearpod allows me create quick lessons and evaluate my students live. Nearpod supports our Active Learning Framework which is a student lead environment. Nearpod allows my students to actively participate in every lesson. They are able to take ownership of their learning. Nearpod provides virtual field trips, images, ready to use lessons, and have recently added Flocabulary. This app will allow my students to explore, interact, and have a voice in the science lab. It will give them access to my lessons on their iPads.
