Nearpod will allow my students to engage with scientific ideas by taking VR field trips. It will also allow me as a teacher to informally assess students through online polls, drawings, short-answer questions, and quizzes. By donating to our project, you will allow my students to have an equitable education by providing them with technology to engage with. My students are eager to learn, and eager to thrive after their post-secondary education. However, many of my students to not have the opportunity to see the world, and leave their city like their peers do across the country. A Nearpod subscription will allow our classroom to be more equitable and create engaging scientific experiences for my students.
