All of my students come in with the potential to achieve amazing things. However, some of them need additional support and resources to reach their full potential. In a mathematics classroom, students need various resources such as whiteboards, calculators, binders and headphones to watch videos. All students should have any and all the resources they need in order to be successful. The backgrounds of our students already put them in a disadvantage so we need close this gap by providing them with resources that can be used to benefit the diverse needs. Hands on resources such as whiteboards and calculators are essential for success in math.
