Although my students come from impoverished homes void of technology, my students are technologically astute and exceptionally talented-provided they are presented the opportunities and the resources to hone their skills. With the present budget cuts, our school cannot provide them with a digital camera and photo printer. One of the visual arts requirements is that they photograph learning in their classrooms. Presently, this entails having to loan them my camera and printing them on my home printer because funds are not available to purchase a camera and printer.

About my class
