We have two 6th grade classes at my school and we would like to read several novels this year. I have found that when my students read a book together they have great conversations, a greater depth of knowledge, their reading comprehension is raised and the shared learning of the topics that the books cover spill over into the classroom environment. I found a book, Crash, that teach kindness, perseverance, friendship, responsibility, compassion and many other qualities important for our youth to learn. What better way to empathize with others than the shared love of characters in a book? Thank you for supporting our students!
