I have the privilege of teaching some of the best students in Carbon County, Utah. But we live in a rural, relatively under-privileged community. My students do not have the reading background that many students taking the AP exam have. Since I know this; I have to be able to think outside the box and teach them skills to succeed these tests and even in college. The students I have want to succeed and are really trying, but many are missing the advantages of other students, either through money or support. But the one thing they have going for them is that most are willing to work and put in the time. I want to put in the time and do all I can to help and support them.
