This dollhouse, dollhouse furniture, ethnicity dolls including those with special needs, and cultural instruments will help my preschool students from various backgrounds develop their social-emotional skills. Students will have opportunities during Center Time to use them independently or with peers and I will be able to use them for "modeling" appropriate social skills as well as language with students during large group and small group times. Not only will these materials help my young students develop their social-emotional skills, but they will also be able to share about their own families and further develop their communication skills with peers by role-playing too. Family is very important in our preschool program and we celebrate our likenesses and differences while learning from each other. This dollhouse, multi-cultural dolls, special needs dolls, and instruments will provide hours of fun, enthusiasm, and highly engaged learning throughout this new school year!
