Step inside my three seventh-grade classrooms, and you’ll find a mix of personalities, emotions, and contradictions! My students are kind and respectful, yet stubborn, sarcastic, and full of energy. One moment they’re quiet, and the next, ten hands are raised while others call out. Between clicking pens, squeaking shoes, mysterious humming, and contagious laughter, there’s rarely silence! Sometimes, a math lesson becomes an emotional check-in because a student needs support more than instruction. Despite the noise and occasional chaos, these are good kids with big hearts. They look out for one another and step up when classmates or teachers need help. Our classrooms may not always be predictable, but they’re filled with care, encouragement, and belonging. Your generosity helps us create a space where students feel safe, manage emotions, build confidence, and grow both academically and personally
