These materials will allow my students to have active choice in their educational environment. Flexible seating is a new trend that educators are starting to implement in their classrooms to break up the brick and mortar style of school. By having a variety of styles of seating, students have the opportunity to find a safe, comfortable spot that they can be their most successful selves. My students do not have a lot of choice in much in their home lives and to be able to provide them with a safe space is something I think they deserve and will encourage a collaborative classroom.
