UIL Mathematics includes many varieties of competitions. Although one of these is a mental math test, two of the tests involve heavy use of scientific calculators in order to find efficient solutions quickly. With the release of the HP Prime, our students have made leaps and bounds in district, regional, and state level mathematics competitions. Our limited budget means that we cannot afford for the whole team to practice with these calculators. Please help us bring in more members to our team who can practice competitively. I regularly teach topics ranging from College Algebra to Calculus to students as young as 9th grade, so any help is much appreciated.
