As a first-year teacher, I am constantly researching, scrolling, screen-shotting, and talking with other teachers to find out what makes their day to day function more smoothly. Having the materials I need at the beginning of the school year will help create clear expectations, and allow us to get the learning started! I compiled a list of the top-recommended tools, indoor-recess games, organizational helpers, and day-to-day needs in the hopes of furnishing my classroom, helping students, and keeping my classroom clean. These tools(charging station, pencils, erasers, caddies, lights, wipes, books, glue, etc.) will not only help make my life as a first-year teacher more organized and clean, but it will also help my students stay organized by having places to keep community materials like iPads and organized.
