I am asking for help with the tuition for Breathe for Change as well as materials for my students to practice yoga-- mats, blocks, and straps. I'm really excited about this opportunity to bring the research-based program, Breathe for Change, to my school. This opportunity will allow me to create a more peaceful and mindful school and community. I will participate in a rigorous 200 hour yoga certification program over the summer where I will also build a curriculum tailored for my school community. The materials will be used directly with students for them to practice yoga and mindfulness. This program will be used during school, after school, in some cases as a restorative alternative to discipline, and with staff and community.
