My class is a student-centered environment where my students learn to be autonomous as well as collaborative. They will be using skill set programs such as I-Ready and Vocabulary website that will enhance their vocabulary and their reading skills. These programs both require the use of headphones. My students will also have the opportunity to create a financial portfolio that correlates with a given scenario which will require the use of technology and headphones to prepare them for college and career. My students will also be creating a website centered around their own interests which will involve researching ideas, watching videos and tutorials that will require the use of headphones.
