My Fifth Grade class at Laurel Dell Elementary School is the sweetest! We are jumping into the year at an interim location, as our original spot is under construction for the next year. Although there are challenges around this move, my students are ready to go with their unending positivity and eagerness to learn. Mostly second language English learners, my students are learning the 5th grade curriculum while at the same time honing their English language skills. We are so proud of them and want to provide for them the very best in terms of an education that is both meaningful while at the same time lots of fun! The energy our students put forth in working together promotes self-esteem for all, and the sense of community that makes Laurel Dell a wonderful small school comes from all of us working together as a family. I look forward to sharing our dreams with you on Donors Choose!
