These materials will indirectly help my students by comforting them when completing new tasks by the furniture being blue and green which psychologically instills tranquility and focus. The students will need a form of comfort when being tasked with the advanced form of fluency required of a 4th grader that simply sitting on the furniture selected will provide. The students are also learning about Illinois and national history this year so having the rug of the United States of America will help them slowly recognize the different states as we learn about them and come in handy when we play memory games and review big topics in Geography and social studies.
