With over 60% English language learners mostly from low-income families, classroom library could be their only place to learn and grow as readers! We all know the power of reading and how fundamental it is for a child's education. With cozy chairs to seat on and engaging books to read, I want my students to not only learn how to read but also ENJOY reading! Research has proved that flexible seating and cozy environment help students to build stamina for reading, which also helps them to develop a good reading habit and become lifelong learners. With these new engaging books, my students will have more books to choose from and more opportunities to grow as a reader!

About my class
