Learning any language is hard but for my classroom, it is even harder. My classroom students come from low-income homes where acquiring the basic English language is extremely difficult. It is my job to instill the passion of reading and succeeding academically in the hearts of my first graders and these tools will aid in doing so. Ipads are great for them to actually visualize the vocabulary and learn through apps. The listening tools will engage my students to be able to differentiate tricky English words and their different meanings. My first grade class will be excited to see these new materials and learn even more English language this way. They will learn to say English words and communicate efficiently with peers and adults as well. They can even help their families at home to learn English too! Thank you for your time.
