My 4th grade students and I are looking for a comfortable and inviting space to hold morning meetings, mini-lessons, read-alouds, etc. As my first Donors Choose project, I would love your help purchasing a rug for my classroom. Meetings on the rug are an integral component of elementary education, giving students the opportunity to build interpersonal skills while learning. Students can also benefit from partner and group work from the comfort of the rug. A classroom should be a home away from home, and a rug serves as a space where students can regroup throughout the day. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
