As a first time teacher, there are resources that are needed to create the type of environment that is conducive to learning. I have chosen materials that will keep my students engaged. I want my classroom to be a source of light and positivity for my students, and my "Bee" theme will be a phenomenal reminder to my students to bee-lieve in the impossible. Additionally, literacy is my top priority. I have included books that are not only age appropriate, but also interesting enough to hold their attention. They will be used throughout the year to engage my students in reading. I am well aware of the community in which I have chosen to serve and how this pandemic has affected it. With your help, these students can receive the level of education and care they are deserving of. After all, they are our future.
