Students coming from underprivileged homes, refugees, new language learners, all are experiencing education at their level in our Resource Classroom. I want to give students that excitement of flipping through a new, clean book and letting their fingers glide along the fresh words they are reading. I am looking forward to hearing their little voices stretch out the sounds and form words as they take in the vibrant illustrations. Students of all academic levels should be able to experience the excitement of a book and crave the opportunity to choose from the classroom library. Having the ability to choose from this library will teach students new lessons from cultures and backgrounds different from their own. Resource students will be motivated to come to the resource room if they know that there are great quality books there waiting for them. Having a variety of books at different levels will ensure that each student is able to successfully find a book and enjoy the story told inside!
