As we transition our classrooms out of the schools and into our homes, technology has become the epicenter of greatness and stress. Online learning has presented struggles with the inability to have that in-person connection and leaving us questioning how to bridge the gaps in learning. Technology has given us the opportunity to try and bridge these gaps but without the right technology, it can bring stress to all those involved. For example, my current Chromebook consistently has visual and auditory issues. During many of my Zoom or Google Meetings, my connection would begin strong but with multiple devices being used, the screen would freeze, the sound would go out, the battery would drain, and my lessons were disrupted. These problems have truly effected my ability to relay information and the student's ability to learn. We are continuously playing catch up. Every second that I am able to virtually teach engaging lessons with the MacBook Air will give me and my students the assurance that we are making effective progress.
