I am seeking materials to have in my Listening Center during choice time that will enhance a child's exposure to literature. In this center, multiple students will be able to follow along in a book while listening to the narrator read the book aloud. I believe it is extremely important that each student have an opportunity to immerse themselves in the English language. When students are in this center, they will focus on the sounds of words read without interruption and it will provide a model of fluent reading. Audio books also give an important introduction to listening. This is an important skill for young children to master.

About my class
