All of these materials will be wonderful for my students. Due to the fact that many of my students lack life experience, live in poverty, and are English Language Learners, they have to work extra hard to be successful at a young age. The cool chairs in my cart would make for a great reading center where kids can comfortably relax and read. The social emotional writing prompts are there to help them recognize and acknowledge their feelings, while writing about it. It is something that can be discussed in class and something that fosters language. The pictures to help with translation give my students the ability to find the words they need to use on their own. Finally, the growth mindset books are there to help foster a mindset where kids feel they can do anything. I want to instill confidence in them and I believe this is a great tool in doing so!
