These books will provide students with information and ideas to help guide them as engineers. Students will be able to read books independently or as a class to learn about engineers and builders and to help spark their imaginations with project ideas and inspiration from other inventions. The LEGOs and Magna Tiles will give students a way to showcase their creativity and critical thinking. Currently students' building supplies are limited to a minimal amount of LEGOs and maker materials such as recycled items. Adding new LEGO sets and Magna Tiles will allow me to have students work in centers with different building materials so they can experience differences in construction materials, just as professional engineers and builders do.
