All of my students participate in a school wide reading initiative designed to address reading and comprehension. I would like to stock my classroom with high-interest books and magazines that will foster a love of reading in my students. With these new books and magazines, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently on their level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
