This is my first year as a classroom teacher and I want to make sure I have everything I need to prepare my children to be great! Some children may not be able to afford supplies so I want to make sure they have them! I would like to ensure that my students have supplies and tools to complete assignments as well as get some much needed supplies for my classroom itself. I believe that without the proper tools to do a job, the job will not be completed. Being a first year teacher there are many things that I don't have and very much need. Some of the materials I ordered will make working in my room productive and easier. Children are the same, without the tools to work effectively they have trouble completing their work. I want to keep them with tools in hand. I was a substitute last year and most children didn't have paper, highlighters, markers, etc. When it came time to test with highlighters they didn't know how to use them properly. I want to make sure I have the extra things we both need.
