Because of the expanding population at the high school, we have had to take measures in making room for extra science classrooms. These temporary classrooms were only provided with basic necessities and were never intended to teach chemistry. We will need additional portable items to accommodate the circumstances. Students need to be able to work together in groups and collaborate using scientific investigation as the primer to teach chemistry. The ability to synthesize and break down chemical compounds will be difficult without the equipment needed. These items will provide enough Bunsen burners and gas for the year to conduct chemical experiments in a safe manner. The eye-wash station and fire blanket will be essential for student safety.
