Technology plays an important role in my classroom. This year I plan to have my business students create a food truck business. All of the instruction/information will be tandem through the computer and teacher lecture. In order to make this happen, students need working, durable headsets. What we currently have for headsets is ready to be retired. Along with technology, working in a classroom environment that is welcoming, engaging, educational and fun is important to me and my students. Since I do teach business class, I would like to provide a classroom that is professional and mimics the real world. This can be done with materials such as computers, lecterns and laser pointers so that when they are giving presentations they are mimicking what it would be like in the real world. My students are inquisitive and full of life. They will be running the school store, so they will need materials to help them run a small business. Their creativity, eagerness, and excitement are showcased every single day, and with the proper tools, they are able to enhance on these and become great entrepreneurs and employees.
