We are the Sailors, and I want to set up a red and blue classroom filled with nautical memorabilia that will inspire my 7th grade math students to feel comfortable and excited about our classroom and activities! I want to use sensory seating and alternative seating to accommodate students who need a little extra freedom and movement to keep their brains charged and engaged. Clip boards and inflatable seat cushions will provide this needed sensory stimulation and alternate modes of completing work in rotating groups as well as individual exploration. I'm setting up a new classroom in an old school in a low economically disadvantage area. I can do wonders creating a stimulating learning environment with your help!
