The materials that I am requesting will help further enhance the literary experience of my students. As a second year teacher, I have worked hard to create a rich, diverse library of titles that can be enjoyed by my students - regardless of their reading level. I would like cultivate a love of reading by incorporating novel study. To accomplish this, I am seeking books and other resources for students to use, both in and out of the classroom. Although I have a smart board, the document camera will allow me to model strategies for students. The technology will help me teach strategies that help students have a deeper understanding of each book. I will also be able to use the funds from TPT to help find digital resources for students should we switch to distance learning.
