My students would enjoy a bright, comfortable place to sit and learn their alphabet sounds. A rug decorated in fun, color coded letters would make learning enjoyable. By having sections or blocks of their own will encourage independent learning and have many behavior benefits. A variety of games can be played with this large alphabet rug. One specific game that will be played with my srudents will be similar to musical chairs, just using the letter alphabet squares instead of chairs. Students will move from letter to letter using movement and music to ensure the implementation of multiple learning modalities.
