The food nutrient analysis kit will help my students learn more about human nutrition, which is a big part of my medical anatomy & physiology course. This kit is an active and exciting way for students to directly figure out the nutritional content of what they eat and how it relates to their health on a cellular and tissue level. This kit is an excellent way to make learning about nutrition and health more hands-on. The forensic dissection kit will be a great opportunity for my students to try their hand at forensic science, a topic that many of them are interested in. It isn't easy to find materials involving forensics at the high school level and I think they will love this. Plus, it gives them another chance to work on their suturing and dissecting skills, and they all need a lot of practice. Many of them want to work in a health profession, so learning to deal with cutting and sewing up tissue will likely be an important skill set for them. We also need to dissect several mammals as part of the course requirements, so it is more good practice. I have a lot of students and it is incredibly important to me, and to them, that we have as many labs and materials for them to learn as much as possible. Anatomy & physiology and health science materials are also quite expensive, especially at the high school level. Thank you!
