The use of cutting tools such as scissors, Xacto knives, and cutting mats to protect out surfaces can not be understated! They will be used in all art classes, from general art to specific mediums like sculpture, printmaking, textiles, drawing, painting, and more. The paints, brushes, charcoal, and erasers will be used in the drawing and painting/general art class to be able to make some masterpieces! These art supplies are essential to exploring all the mediums these students have signed up to learn. Each medium presents its own challenges, and different problems for the students to solve along the way. It is important that these students have the opportunity to explore media they might not have had the opportunity to in middle or elementary school.
