The dry erase whiteboards will transform my classroom walls into usable space. Currently, my classroom has damaged chalkboards that prevent me from using them as an instructional tool. Dry erase whiteboards are an essential tool in my classroom because they will give my students the opportunity to view important history notes, vocabulary words and sentence/ writing frames. The whiteboards will be a reference tool for students to use on a daily basis. My ENL students and struggling readers and writers will benefit the most since they are most successful when they have immediate access to vocabulary and sentence frames. Additionally, I will be able to deliver instruction much more effectively because the whiteboards will allow me to organize and record student thoughts, create visual representations of difficult concepts and to post reminders and updates for my students, such as homework assignments and important deadlines.
